Just because you are doing it in a hurry though does not mean you should make rushed purchases which you can later come to regret. The first things you need to purchase are beds. The After Christmas List

There are always great sales after Christmas. This is where I often gather new items for the next year. So, I’ve decided to make a new list, an after Christmas list, of things I want to pick up at those tremendous sales. Last year, I was able to obtain some very nice, new Christmas ornaments for mere pennies on the dollar. They were marked down anywhere from 50% to an incredible 90% off the regular price. I found some lovely hand-painted glass ornaments in a variety of styles and colors. My favorite set has four deep green, four deep red, … Continue reading

We didn’t want to spend … Continue reading

Imagine my surprise when a DHL … Continue reading

Buying Do-It-Yourself Furniture Part I

My husband, daughter, and I have recently moved into a new apartment and we have been searching for new furniture. Being the cook that I am, I like to spend quite a bit of time in the kitchen. Our kitchen is not very large and does not have the cabinet space required to hold all of the utensils and gadgets that I have collected over the years. I had in mind that I wanted to purchase a small buffet with a hutch. We found just what I was looking for at Wal-Mart. The Home Trends Colonial Estate Collection Buffet with … Continue reading
